Faith is a gift from God. Formation in faith helps us to grow in the knowledge, understanding and love of this wonderful gift. St. Mary Magdalen Parish community offers a variety of programs, processes and experiences to foster growth in faith
and religious formation.

EVENTS FOR ADULTS take place throughout the year. In addition to planned special events, groups gather for Scripture Study, Small Church Community activities and prayer. Adults wishing to learn about our Catholic Faith are welcome to join the process of Christian Initiation for Adults. YOUTH MINISTRY for high school students-grades 9-12-gathers year round. Go to www.smmbasic.com for current activities or call the BASIC Office, 482-1219 x 234, for days and times of meetings. Activities include retreats, outings and regularly scheduled social activities. HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION for 1st and 2nd year candidates meets twice each month. Candidates also participate in B.A.S.I.C. Youth Ministry activities. JUNIOR HIGH MINISTRY for students in 7th and 8th grade meets twice each month. Classes to prepare children in school grades 1 and 2 to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are held on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:45pm to 5:00pm. Older students may be prepared to receive these sacraments through the process of Christian Initiation for Children." | |||||||||||||||||
